R&B/Soul/Pop emerging singer/songwriter Lauren Silva is a lyricist at heart for whom the word “soul” comes with humble essence and pitch-perfect ease. From the youth group at church and local coffee shops, to sold out shows at the Cox Arena, Lauren has graced over thousands with her captivating melodic sustenance. While hitting the stage with her striking stamina or perfecting her pitch in the heart of the studio, Lauren can be vocally compared to a mix between pop sensations, Adele and Pink.
She has performed across the nation opening for established recording artists such as P.O.D., Kirk Franklin, L.F.O., and has worked with a growing number of well-respected musicians such as Lester Abrams (writer of “Minute By Minute” of Doobie Brothers), Traa (Bass player for P.O.D.) Tomi Aros (Luis Miguel, Santana), Kiko Cibrian (Santana), Carl Evans J.R. (Fattburger, Stevie Wonder) and more. Additionally, Lauren recently collaborated with the Grammy Award-winning Carrie Underwood, where she can be seen singing next to Underwood in the opening scene of the major motion film Soul Surfer.
As a solo artist and songwriter, Lauren has been gaining major label and publishing interest with her recently recorded EP, scheduled to release very soon. Showcasing her compelling musical precedence, she had a very big hand in this EP as she co-wrote all the songs alongside a talented team of major label affiliates. She was blessed to work along side producer Mario Marchetti (LA producer of Jojo’s new hit single “Disaster” and more) for this project. Her hit new single “Hurt,” was instantly placed on TV’s the Oxygen Network amongst rotating network shows and will soon be hitting the radio airwaves. In addition, Lauren was selected amongst top Austin performers to work with Z Nation – an ABC affiliate – where her single was visually released via a special music video segment currently airing on ABC and CBS stations across the U.S. She is also continuing to co write with many established writers for herself and other major artists alongside several American and international teams with Sony and Universal.
A Southern Californian native at heart, this powerful singer/songwriter is currently based in Austin, TX with residencies at some of the top venues and hot spots.
